Victorian Conservatories by Ecoseal

You don’t need to live in a Victorian property to enjoy the stylish features of a Victorian conservatory.  Whether the curved front is in 3, 4, 5 or 6 sections it will offer panoramic views of your garden and the more sections the bay has the smoother the curve of the bay.  Although the style of the bay adds character to the conservatory, when considering a Victorian conservatory, account must be taken of the positioning of furniture and the loss of space caused by the bay.

This extremely versatile design can be built with a roof pitch as low as 15º or as steep as 35º and in a three facet Victorian, the front section can be wider that the other two to improve practicality.  And when hipped back to a box gutter or built against a new tiled dormer, a Victorian conservatory can also be built on to a bungalow.  Ecoseal offer a choice of finial and cresting to finish of the ridge of the conservatory – or you can keep it simple, with none at all.

All conservatories are available with Ecoseal’s ‘A’ rated energy efficient windows or the more economical Trade Frames.  Our conservatory designers will also advise on the use of casement, tilt and turn or sliding sash windows combined with single or double doors, sliding patio or bi-fold doors.  For additional ventilation, either manually or electrically operated roof vents are available.

Ecoseal’s conservatory designers also take into account the aspect of the conservatory, as a north facing conservatory may need more insulation and a south facing conservatory more ventilation.  Additional protection from the conservatory overheating can be designed in, by recommending heat reflective polycarbonate or glass in the roof.  Ecoseal’s conservatories are designed to be usable throughout the whole of the year.

Frame Colours

Other than Brilliant White, frame colour options include Light Oak, Rosewood and Nut Tree woodgrain foils, each with an optional white interior and with an extensive range of door panels to match.  In addition Ecoseal offer foiled frames in Anthracite Grey, Black Ash, Cream and White.

All new conservatories and orangeries from Ecoseal have the gutter and downpipes connected to either existing or new drainage, for example when a new gulley is installed along with the building work.  As a no cost option, in line with our ecological stance as a company, we offer every customer a FREE WATER BUTT connected to your new conservatory instead of a new gulley.  That way you will be able to collect rainwater from the roof of your new conservatory to re-use in your garden – just another way in which we are different from the ordinary conservatory company.
